History

Liceo Side Gate

Founded in 1970 as the Mindanao Business School by Antero S. Delos Reyes, Sr. and Erlinda Cabeguin-Delos Reyes, the institution began with vocational courses such as typewriting, bookkeeping, stenography, and dressmaking.

In 1989, in response to community demand for academic programs, the school opened regular and evening high school classes and adopted the name Liceo de Davao, meaning “School of Davao” in Latin.

Over the decades, the school expanded to two campuses in Tagum City — Briz District (Main) and Agan District (Annex) — and broadened its offerings to include Basic Education, Open High School, and Tertiary Programs in Education and Business Administration.
